Grisaille Raw and beautiful, a storm of emotions. It could have been easily a pioneer in the first years of the emoviolence / screamo, such an amazing record and band. Keep it up guys. Favorite track: II.

G.C. this album makes me want to ruin my life.
Andy Johnston

Andy Johnston With songs this short, it boils down to moments that catch your breath: the way frontman, Nicolas, spits out “I will never forgive them for what they’ve done” on “IV”, the full band breakdowns of “V,” the blast beats that drag “VII” along the pavement and curb-stomp it to death. This is a brutal blast of pummeling riffs and free-wheeling chaos, but it also achieves a grandiosity that belies its brevity.
Favorite track: IV.

Gary Davidson Some classic furious, short, explosive screamo that fans of Maths will greatly enjoy.

1.
I 01:31
Hands reaching for the clouds but we could never grasp Ten thousand empty voices like bodies full of nothing An insatiable hunger Every step a bit closer To an endless precipice Eyes that see no further Than what their frail fingers reach Longing for salvation In the belly of the beast We cannot stay afloat burdened by the weight of our chains
2.
II 01:06
I could see a crimson light waning in a distance Running out of breath always suffocating Nails growing sharper with the days like knives that gather rust I am tired of running tired of counting the hours Always shouting never heard You can only trap a dead bird
3.
III 00:41
Set ablaze the idols and preachers Another world is not possible It grows beneath our fingertips every waking moment Set ablaze humanity and civilization Domesticated life Shallow existence A crumbling empire Back to dust back to earth
4.
IV 01:15
I still remember the voice of your aching bones Longing for what could be With arms wide open Still remember the blood-soaked salt beneath your balcony A last farewell I will never forgive them for what they've done
5.
V 01:41
The air is thick and saturated with remorse Wallow in despair Lungs filled with ash As our frail bones stand in contempt on the graves we've dug Like an immense void always growing Taking up space until there's nothing left Feed the emptiness feed it blood Hecatomb of a thousand stars And all it gave us was A life of toil and misery And all it gave us was The semblance of a memory Silence sets in a whisper becomes wailing If one were to closely listen Our hands against the wound Of the throat that we have slit Our hands against the throat
6.
VI 01:16
Do you remember what used to be before we could ever see it Can you see what lies beneath this ever-growing cloak of concrete? Can you see the stars through this thick veil of light? They've built this prison And we will take it down
7.
VII 01:29
Lifeless / boundless Eradicated light Disemboweled animal Stole the breath from the air so we would choke on tar and gas Our bones embedded in the crust of the earth Shattered in fragments by the passage of time Our voices will remain when life grows out of our caved-in chests
